Failure to Yield at a Stop Sign Kills One and Injures Four

A Tuesday night crash in Ashland left a 19 year old Jeromesville man dead.  The man has been identified as Jacob Ringler.  The crash occurred at about 9:15 Tuesday night at the intersection of Ohio 60 and County Road 2175. 

Police indicate that Mr. Ringler failed to stop at a stop sign and crashed into a car driven by Aimee Young who was travelling south on Ohio 60.  Ms. Young had to be freed from her vehicle.  She was taken to Cleveland Metro Health in critical condition.  Three passengers from Ms. Young’s car also suffered injuries and had to be hospitalized.  They have been identified as 15 year old Emma Fetzer, 15 year old Sydney Spots, and 15 year old Laura Teiga.

The Ohio Highway Patrol responded to and investigated this fatal Ohio intersection accident.
